Internet Explorer 9 Is Now Available For Download
Posted by Richard Chao in "Digital Home Software" @ 12:00 PM
"Microsoft Corp. today announced the launch of the latest version of the world's most-used browser with the release of Windows Internet Explorer 9 in 39 languages at an event at the SXSW Interactive conference."
Internet Explorer 9 is now available to the general public and can be downloaded from IE9's product page, Beauty of the Web. IE9 by itself is a very robust web browser and can definitely keep up with the likes of Chrome and Firefox if not surpass them. Some of IE9's newest features include hardware acceleration, improved security and Microsoft's Tracking Protection. When installed on a machine running Windows 7, IE9 really shines by offering integration features such as the ability to individually pin web sites to the Windows 7 Taskbar and thereby act as native applications.
