CD/DVD Hybrid?

"Call them DualDiscs. Currently being test-marketed for a limited time in Boston and Seattle, DualDiscs arrived in stores unannounced last month. This multimedia format is being marketed by the five major record labels: BMG, EMI, Warner Music Group, Sony Music and Universal. These discs, which look like a CD except that they are the tiniest bit thicker, carry content on both sides: conventional digital audio on one side, and DVD and/or multimedia content on the other."
The DualDisc packaging is similar to a standard CD jewel case, but with significant improvements. The hinge area is smaller than on a Jewel case, allowing room on the opposite side for a small lever, which opens the cover when pressed. Don't get too excited yet though, some users have found an unfortunate side-effect to this CD/DVD - they might jam in your player, or not play at all.
There are a couple of articles that were written last month on this technology that are also quite interesting. Take a look at them for further information here and here. Anyone from Boston/Seattle tried them out yet? I wish I knew about these a couple of days ago as I just got back from Seattle and would have tried them out.
