Picasa 2.0 Coming Soon? Perhaps!

In a message dated February 7th inside the Picasa support forums, they're discussing Picasa 2.0:
"You've all been waiting patiently for news on 2.0, and I have to tell you that it's just getting too cool. We're making lots of good progress and I'll do my best to keep you all updated. (Watch this space for more updates.) Want to help us out with version 2.0? Here's how: The Picasa QA team is looking for more real-life pictures to test our new filters with. We want to make Picasa 2.0 fix all the most annoying photo problems. You know - the perfect moment, and you were there with the camera ready but... the picture is backlit, totally dark, or maybe there are just too many greens where there should have been reds."
So let's see...if they're in beta as of early February, and we're coming up on early April...I think we just might see 2.0 pretty quick! Hooray! :D
