I use an older version of these headphones, and without a doubt, I can say they're the best in-ear headphones I've ever owned. They're great for blocking out external noise as well - they have no electronic noise cancelling, but the design of the ear foam blocks out quite a bit of external noise. Bass response is an area where earbuds typically don't excel at, and while the MDR's can't match big DJ-style cans, they do a darn good job. If you're still using the headphones that came with whatever audio device you're using, trust me, ditch them and buy these headphones. You'll thank me! :D [Affiliate]
