Microsoft and HP Unveil New PC Hardware Designs for WinHEC

Later, Microsoft executives will show off a "Windows Home" concept, yet another attempt to combine a PC with a set-top box. In addition, Microsoft executives will disclose that they are working with hardware providers to add touchscreen capabilities to the Tablet PC. HP, meanwhile, plans to announce a program to use USB memory keys to facilitate the setup of wireless networks."
Great article on some of the future technologies being cooked up - they first showed the Athens PC last at last year's WinHEC conference I believe, and I was hoping that by now they'd be closer to producing it, but they're still in data gathering mode. Someday...
