AMD Launches Two 64-Bit Mobile Processors
Posted by Jason Dunn in "HARDWARE" @ 01:30 PM
"AMD has launched two new powerful 64-bit low-power mobile processors for notebook computers. The new Athlon 64 processor models 2800+ and 2700+ offer a powerful 32-bit computing environment with seamless transition to 64-bit applications. Both processors offer an Enhanced Virus Protection security feature that will be enabled by soon-to-be Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2."
64-bit processing power that's battery friendly, allowing for thin and light notebooks such as the Ferarri notebook from Acer? Bring it on! 8)
