"With so many cookie-cutter products passing through our doors each week, it's always a pleasure to discover a device as forward-thinking as SoniqCast's Element Aireo wireless MP3 player. Equipped with an 802.11b Wi-Fi interface, a 1.5GB internal microdrive, and an FM transmitter, this nifty little device (which will set you back $300) can automatically download new music through your wireless network and broadcast music to any FM radio in your house or car. Our early-production test unit suffered from a few growing pains, but we're still convinced the Aireo could be the most innovative portable music device since the Apple iPod."

Interesting concept. Built-in WiFi allows the user to download music from their PC without the inconvenience of being tethered to a desktop. It's a shame this company didn't think beyond the box. Imagine if you could actually purchase and download music from the web, right from your audio player. Now that would be cool.
