New Livecam To Handle 70 MP

"Small Swiss company Roundshot has released an interesting new item, the 360° internet Livecam. The Livecam is a digital 360° camera, capable of 70 megapixels."
Looks like a very cool unit and I would highly recommend checking out the sample panoramic shots that they offer on their site. Most of the downloadable images are on the order of about 4MB. The company claims the Livecam uses a high-resolution digicam that is designed for pro photography, and has the ability to do slit-scanning, which apparently allows for "seamless panoramas" of up to 360°. It is also capable of up to 20x zoom which I thought was particularly impressive. I can see this being a wonderful tool for security companies. For personal use, don't run to the store yet since it will set you back a pretty penny as it is priced at just over $10K. 8O
