"Canon has added four models to its range of A4 photo printers. The high-end model, the breadbin-shaped PIXMA iP4000, is the most interesting and is based on an inkjet print engine that can output A4 borderless prints up to a native resolution of 4800x1200dpi. The printer (418x286x170mm, 6.7kg) also uses Canon's ContrastPLUS technology - a five tank ink system that includes an additional dye-based black ink for sharper contrast and sports a tiny 2 picolitre ink droplet size. It outputs at an impressive claimed speed of up to 25ppm (mono)."Wow. I think I'm in love - those are some SEXY looking printers! 8O It looks like a European-only realease for now, but I hope we see them on our shores sometime soon.
