"Stores should be stocking the next photographic fancy by the time you read this: 7-megapixel digital cameras. In the midrange, for instance, Sony will ship its 1-inch-thick Cyber-shot DSC-P150, a 7.2-megapixel camera that includes a 3X optical zoom lens and a 1.8-inch LCD screen. It captures images at a resolution of 3072 by 2304 pixels, which should be good enough to print 8-by-10-inch enlargements at 300 dots per inch. Expect to pay less than $500."
