SanDisk Ups Ultra II Line, Including 8GB CF Card

"SanDisk Corporation announced today that is has quadrupled the capacity of its high-speed SanDisk Ultra® II line of flash memory cards that includes the development of a new 8GB CompactFlash® Type I card. The top end SanDisk Ultra II Memory Stick PRO™ and SD™ cards now boast 4GB and 2GB of capacity respectively. The announcement was made at the Photokina trade show. Each SanDisk Ultra II card features a minimum write speed of 9 megabytes per second (MB/sec.) and a minimum read speed of 10MB/sec."
I can see Jason crying already. I mean 4GB is not bad at all, but damn, 8GB, 8O double the pleasure/double the fun. :) And how much will this set us poor mortals back? $960 USD. It should be available this November.
