MyDVD Studio Deluxe Suite 6.0

"MyDVD Studio 6.0 is the latest upgrade to Sonic Solutions' entry-level CD and DVD creation software. The update includes many new features and enhancements that help to make authoring a little easier and feature rich, including a new interface that integrates all DVD and CD creation tasks, freeform button placement, encoding for up to four hours of video on a single-layer DVD, anamorphic widescreen support, support for up to 1000 photographs per slideshow, and slightly better audio control. However, its video-editing tools are basic and it only offers a storyboard mode - there's no timeline. Audio support is also weak and its backup tool only supports individuals computers. MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6.0 is all about speed a simplicity though - you'll be able to create DVD with slideshows, chapters, and sub-menus in a matter of minutes. MyDVD Studio Deluxe 6.0 is worth a look a look if you're a complete computer novice, but more tech savvy users should consider Pinnacle Studio's Studio 9.0 for video-editing and Roxio's Creator 7 for a more complete authoring solution."
MyDVD seems to be directed more at beginning users who just want to create DVDs from their footage. We'll see how this stacks up against Premiere Elements in the next few weeks.
