Hauppauge MediaMVP Gets Enhanced Developer Support

"We've been getting wind that many open-source developers have been embracing the Hauppauge MediaMVP as the media adapter of choice for use with 3rd party applications like SageTV (BTW ver. 2.1 has just been released), GB-PVR, MythTV, ReplayTV, and others. A Sourceforge project called MediaMVP Media Center has even been created to develop player libraries to further the platform for use with other software applications and devices. So if you've been eyeing a Windows Media Center PC, but can't stand the idea of buying another product from Microsoft, checkout your options and find comfort in the fact that a simple sub-$100 media adapter can be used with many of these alternative platforms."
This unit seems to be the darling of the media streaming market, largely because so many people have made enhancements and skins for it. That's a good thing, because the out of the box UI is horrific.
