"The Montego MP-0120 Personal Media Player, or MPMP, looks like quite a nifty little device. For about $450, you get 20GB of storage, a 3.5-inch screen (320 x 240 resolution), and 3.5-hour battery life. But the MPMP is more than just a portable device for watching movies -- at it heart it's really a general purpose convergence device that merely doubles as a portable media player. On its own, this looks like a very capable portable media device, hampered only perhaps by the smallish screen. But what sets the MPMP apart from other portable video jukeboxes is its docking cradle, which provides USB 2.0 and 10/100 Ethernet connectivity for moving media on to or off of the MPMP."The docking cradle provides video output, including composite, s-video, and even component; and it also does 3:2 pulldown, a must for home-theater quality presentation. The only downside appears to be in the audio department where there is only a stereo mini jack (but no support for digital out with support for Dolby Digital and DTS).
