"There are now more digital audio players on the market than ever before. I too grunt (after being momentarily interested) when I read about another iPod competitor; I'm tired of imposters and wish that other companies would step aside and recognize the king. But wait, says Digital Mind Corporation, and see our difference: Encode practically any audio source into mp3, catch the local radio morning show, look up a contact, read an eBook, play a stirring game of Tetris, and listen to a jammin' Bob Dylan track all with one device (although not at the same time) and on an unorthodox 180x180 screen. It was such a claim that uncovered my interest for the DMC 8270. But how well did the device carry out all of these feats? Could the DMC 8270 really serve as a "do more than the iPod" competitor?
