You Can't Scratch This DVD

"Maxell this week announced a new line of DVD products that it says are scratch- and dust-resistant. The 4.7GB DVD-R Pro features the company's proprietary hard-coat technology, which makes discs resistant to scratches, the company said. Additionally, Maxell said, the antistatic quality of the new DVDs means they can be used in dusty environments and in jukeboxes."
I can't wait for this to come into stores! :cool: The worst thing with burnable discs must be their tendency to get scratched and destroyed. It is also quite ironic that backups made to CD or DVD can be damaged in an instant by such a simple force as friction. :roll: Are the parents out there also happy to see scratch-resistant DVDs? ;)
