Canon Announces EF-S 60 mm F2.8 macro lens

"Canon has today announced a very interesting EF-S lens to complement its announcement of the EOS 350D. The EF-S 60 mm F2.8 Macro is designed specifically for Digital SLR's with its EF-S lens mount and provides and equivelant field of view of approximately 96 mm and a true 1:1 macro magnification ratio. The lens also features a ring-type Ultra Sonic Motor and has a maximum aperture of F2.8."
