SanDisk Announces 1 GB miniSD Card

"SanDisk today announced the doubling of the current capacity of the SanDisk miniSD card to 1 gigabyte. The SanDisk miniSD card includes an adapter allowing it to be used in any of the existing SD card devices, and is expected to be available at the suggested retail price of $99.99 in second quarter of 2005."
Not so many years ago, just having a gig in your PC was pretty cool. More recently having a gig in your PDA was neat. Now, you can have a gig in your mobile phone for only $99.99.
