ATI AIW Radeon X800XT AGP Video Card Review

"As far as features go, the A-I-W X800XT is the most feature-rich multimedia video card on the market today. You get an excellent television tuner, the speed and features of one of the highest performing video cards on the market, a bundle of software that allows you to use the card, and a remote control. In other words you get everything you would need to operate your A-I-W X800XT in every conceivable situation. The MSRP of the card is $499 USD. Normally, I do not suggest video cards costing over $300 to the average user. The A-I-W X800XT, however, has the features, performance, bundle to justify the high cost. In fact, if I was using an AGP based system today, this would be my primary video card."
Strong words, but a $500 video card is quite a lot of money. I would suspect you could have 80% of the power of this card for about $150 and for 99% of the people that is good enough.
