Sony Releases Vegas Video 6
Posted by Jason Dunn in "SOFTWARE" @ 05:00 AM
We missed this news a couple of weeks ago, but it's too important not to post on. Vegas Video is some serious software, and with version 6.0, it just got even more serious. I have version 5.0 (haven't tried version 6.0 yet), and it's immensely powerful software. The thing that impresses me most about it though is the speed at which the software operates. It's not sluggish and doesn't randomly become unresponsive like Pinnacle Studio 9 does. On the other hand, it's not as easy to use as most programs and doesn't have as many text templates and other elements that lazy people such as myself like to see. ;-) Still, if you're looking to step up from the $100-level video editors into something more "grown up", Vegas Video is worth serious consideration. If you want to take it for a spin, they have a 30 day free trial.
Sony also released new versions of Vegas Movie Studio + DVD, and Vegas+DVD.
