Apple Planning Major Press Event on September 7

Apple has begun sending out invitations to an exclusive press event scheduled for September 7 in San Francisco. No details are provided, however the invitation reads "1000 songs in your pocket changed everything. Here we go again,", which would seem to indicate something major is in the works. Most likely this is either the much anticipated Video iPod we've been hearing rumors about, or perhaps it's simply a launch pad event for the long overdue iTunes phone.
The wording alone seems to indicate something audio related, which could mean the phone. But Steve Jobs loves to wow the crowd with something totally unexpected, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see what this special event is all about.
My bet...Apple is going to announce a new two-button iPod model named "Mighty Pod". :wink:
