New Lexmark Printer Also Burns Photo CDs

"Lexmark, a manufacturer of printing and imaging solutions, today unveiled what they are saying is the industry’s first inkjet photo printer with a built-in CD burner. The new P450 is projected for release in October with a street price of $199. The P450, Lexmark said, prints up to 4x6 borderless photos and features a 2.4” flip up color screen for photo preview and selection. The printer’s built-in CD burner can be used to save digital photos to a CD without the need for a computer. Photos can be transferred from a variety of sources such as a USB flash drive, a digital camera which supports PictBridge, a variety of memory cards and wireless Bluetooth from a cell phone when equipped with an optional adapter."

You'll also be very happy to hear that you can hook this printer up to your TV to view photos. No longer will I have to deal with the pain of burning photos to a CD and then viewing them with my DVD player. Just drag the Lexmark over to my Hitachi and view away.
