"Atom Chip Corporation, a research & development company for new computer designs, published a description of a notebook with a 6.8GHz processor and 1 Terabyte of RAM. Considering modern microarchitectures can't hit 4GHz on stock cooling and consumer-level 3.5" hard drives haven't hit 1TB capacities, let's just say we don't recommend anyone invest in any stock options. The company claims this notebook is the world's first consumer wireless super notebook computer. The notebook does not employ a Hard Disk and is completely based on solid state AtomChip optoelectronics [except the mechanical Optical Drive: DVD Super Multi]. The new non-volatile Quantum-Optical RAM increases the speed of the system, since there is no need to refresh information after every cycle of reading of information, unlike regular RAM."Umm, ok?!! I read this article a few days ago and I would like to see it to believe it. I mean, even I can make up some fancy numbers. I mean, if these numbers were anywhere close to being true, I think their stock would be kicking even Google's ass. Amusing that they say that the notebook will be unveiled at the 2006 CES and will probably sell for $8500 - $15,000. I feel like I should go to CES just so I can see it.
