AOL Pictures: Free Storage, 100 Prints

"America Online has taken the wraps off AOL Pictures, a free photo sharing Web site offering users unlimited photo storage (at original resolution) plus tools enabling easy album creation. And, as a holiday and launch promotion, AOL is offering each user 100 free 4 by 6 glossy or matte prints."
Although I think a lot of AOL's attempts to reposition itself is a great idea, I also think it is too little, too late. This is another "me too" offering as a part of their effort. No word on whether they are doing the printing in house or if they have outsourced it, so the quality of the prints is still an unknown. But since the coupon code "AOLFREEPRINTS" is good until 1/15/2006, this is a pretty low risk opportunity to try it out.
