iPod Inventory Backlog?
Posted by Kent Pribbernow in "NEWS" @ 08:00 AM
Appleinsider is reporting that certain iPod models are becoming backlogged as Apple scrambles to satiate demand for its more popular models. The 4GB iPod nano is proving to be the hottest seller this holiday season, followed closely by its recently announced cousin, the 30GB iPod. According to one supplier, iPod inventory has dwindled to just 200,000 units. This isn't really surprising, considering that all major retailers have reported rampant demand for iPods since the day after Thanksgiving. Inventory issues were inevitable, as they always are with hot items. Just ask all those happy folks waiting in line for an Xbox 360.
So if you plan on buying an iPod for yourself or a loved one, I suggest you run to your nearest retailer or web browser and procure one immediately! ;)
