"As the final days of the holiday shopping season wind down, a new survey from BizRate Research and Shopzilla reveals some interesting gift giving trends. Are you a cheapskate gift giver? Do you recycle gifts? If so, you are definitely not alone, according to a recent BizRate Research survey conducted of online shoppers for comparison shopping search site Shopzilla. The survey results reveal that 78% of online shoppers said they’d received a recycled gift, with 63% saying a begrudging thank you as a way of being polite. The notion of giving re-gifts, as well as items purchased at bargain stores, follows along several different possibilities. 62% of those surveyed said they’d rather re-gift then throw something out, while 34% were trying to stick to a tight budget."Very interesting. So, I never re-gift (probably something I picked up from my parents) and that is probably why I have accumulated so much stuff over the years. What about you? Do you usually re-gift? In fact, let's take this holiday, what percentage of gifts did you re-gift? Oh and being mean, what percentage of gifts you received do you suspect were recycled to you?
