This is a beautifully vitriolic piece from Thomas Hawk, and I agree with the basic premise - investing a lot of money into a DRM-laden format that might not be around five years from now is simply stupid, yet it's something that hundreds of thousands of people are doing. Apple is playing a dangerous game, to be sure. There's a rebuttal here, but it's the usual fanboy stuff. What do you think, especially those of you who have invested a few hundred bucks into iTunes music?
