Posted by Jason Dunn in "HARDWARE" @ 09:15 AM

Product Category: Barebones Computer
Manufacturer: Shuttle
Where to Buy: Low Price Search
Price: from $339 USD
System Requirements: n/a
Specifications: Shuttle specifications

Pros:
  • Great design, clean lines;
  • Effectively silent;
  • Capable of running high-end video cards;
  • Easy installation and setup.
Cons:
  • Frustrating optical drive bay button problem;
  • Only one DVI port, one VGA port;
  • No integrated memory card reader;
  • Only available in white.
Summary:
Shuttle has hit a home run with the SD11G5. Despite my major frustrations with the optical drive bay button, the SD11G5 is a powerful blend of stylish design, clever engineering, and powerful hardware. If you're looking for a silent desktop PC that still packs some serious punch for productivity and digital media editing, the SD11G5 is tough to beat.
