"Canon recently announced 3 new cameras in their super-compact SD "Digital ELPH" line. The Canon Poweshot SD series cameras are among the smallest digicams out there, yet they pack a lot of features into a very small package. I have an SD200 myself and it's great camera just to slip in your pocket and carry around with you everywhere (though you really do need the optional case if you want to make sure it doesn't get damaged rattling around in your pocket!) Featured enhancements on all three of these new Digital ELPH cameras include Canon’s newly designed six-megapixel image sensor that together with Canon’s proprietary DIGIC II image processor helps to reduce “noise” for better image quality and achieves ISO equivalent speed ratings ranging from 80 to 800."I think I have said it many times here that I love the Powershot Digital ELPH series. I have used the S300, S 330 and S230 and the SD400 and was always impressed by the size-versatilily balance . The new cameras allows for faster shutter speeds, and reduction in subject blur during hand-held photography in low light. The SD700IS, SD630 and the SD600 are $499, $399 and $349 respectively.
