Sharing Photos with Photoleap
Posted by Jason Dunn in "SOFTWARE" @ 02:00 PM
There has to be no less than 200 different products and services aiming to solve the problem of sharing photos with others. There are many solutions, but not all are equal in terms of the amount of work they require you or the people you're sharing with to do. For instance, using a service such as Smugmug means a bit of work for you, the photographer, but very little work for the people you're sharing with. Conversely, Photoleap looks like it makes it very easy for you to share your photos, but the people on the receiving end need to install a small piece of software, which is a barrier that something like Smugmug doesn't have. Their Leapback concept is pretty interesting - you give out a unique email address to people at an event, and when they send a blank email to that address they get your photos from that event.
