This is basically a high tech pedometer that interfaces with the iPod nano. You are supposed to use this along with special Nike shoes that have a place in the insole for the transmitter; however, the reviewer found that the transmitter will work with pretty much any pair of shoes, so at under $30 this seems like a heck of a deal.
