A Look Ahead to CES 2007

"The past six months have been chock full of excitement for the audio industry, with the Zune finally hitting shelves, a "remixed" iPod nano, Tivoli's sleek new iPod dock (the iYiYi), an update of the Quiet Comfort Noise Canceling Headphone series from Bose (the QuietComfort 3), and Ultimate Ears' excellent new Triple.fi 10 Pro (soon to be more readily available to the masses)…aren't we about finished for awhile? Not even close. CES 2007 promises to unveil a bevy of products for everyone from the casual listener to the audiophile, be your weapon of choice an iPod, a Zune, a turntable, or anything in between."
No indications of anything really revolutionary coming out, but the all-in-one solution to convert vinyl into mp3's might be a hit with a segment of the ever expanding number of iPod users. Any prognosticators among us that want to venture a guess as to some of the cool new toys we will hear about in the upcoming months?
