Posted by Chris Gohlke in "Digital Home Talk" @ 03:00 AM
"Jason has specialized in aerial photography since 1991, is based just outside London in the UK, and works worldwide. He has produced over 35 aerial photographic books for publishers such as the BBC, Random House and Harper Collins. Jason's clients include brands such as Nike, HSBC, NatWest, Ford, American Airlines, Rolex, Toyota, Smirnoff, Mitsubishi and BP."
Aerial photography combines the awe inspiring vistas you can see from satellite images such as those on google earth with the more artful perspective that come from a human photographer grabbing just the right combination of lighting, angles, and perspective. As you can see from the above sample, Jason Hawkes truly make it an art form. For more samples, click through to his site and if you are inspired, you'll need to add a plane, helicopter, or hot-air balloon to your list of photographic accessories.
