A New Chapter in This Book
Posted by Josh Sorenson in "Digital Home Thoughts Site Updates" @ 08:00 AM
Well here I am starting a new chapter of my life. A chapter that includes writing news articles for you guys.
I'm Josh Sorenson (as you probably read in the "by" field), around the net I go by "Cruleworld" (It's stands for cows rule the world, just accept it and move on...) . I'm hoping to be a big help to the team here at DHT putting my best foot forth in all this. In "real life" I'm a full time student looking for a part time job to support my love of spending money. MP3 players and laptops being my main gadget lust, it can get pretty expensive keeping up with the Jones'.
My real interest for computers came from when I was really young and my love to tinker. I would always (and still do) just go change settings to see what they would do. Being dyslexic I was a late reader so many times I didn't even know what I was clicking on. Anyway, my dad would always get frustrated with me for messing up the computer constantly. I also would take things apart to "fix" them. Most of the time they never worked the same way, but out of that came a interest in computers and technology in general for me.
Back in 2005 I began my real geek adventures after buying The Movies Game and being a huge part of the community there. Since then I have owned multiple MP3 players (3 Sansa players & a Zune 30) and bought myself my first computer this spring. The Dell Mini 9 was the perfect price for the product in my eyes.
With loving MP3 players comes a love for music. I currently play piano & and sing all the time. My main source of music is Zune Pass so I have a decent size collection. I enjoy listening to music that has a good beat and I also love great harmonies. The number one requirement for me is that it is that the music be clean though; I can't stand songs if they include swearing.
Hopefully in a few years we'll all be able to look back on this post as a start of something new. I can't wait to get started writing articles for you guys to enjoy!
