3D Stole the Show at CES 2010

"There's no doubt that this was the year for 3D at CES. We walked the show floor for countless hours and can tell you that just about everyone was showing something related to 3D at their booths. Most of these demos required a bit of a wait to experience them (thanks, hype), and everywhere you went people were talking about 3D."
Other than the trials and tribulations of the intrepid Jason Dunn, it seems like 3D was the story of CES. Engadget has a nice roundup summarizing all the 3D related news from CES. The technology appears real, with almost all the flat panel vendors displaying a working device. The Blu-Ray 3D spec has been finalized, the first couple of 3D movies have been announced, and Directv has announced their intention to launch a 3D channel this year. It seems like it is going to be an exciting year for fans of 3D. Lets hope it lives up to all the hype.
