Digital Home Thoughts: Archos 7 Home Tablet

What you've got here is a 7 inch screen, Android 1.6, and a price tag of around $200. A fresher version of Android would be nice, but hey, this is quite a bargain for a nice sized tablet browser, perfect for sitting on the couch. Hopefully it has access to the Google marketplace for extra apps. From what I've read, it doesn't look like they are using the "pay for additional functionality that should have been included in the box" model from some of their other devices.
