"The new DeNoise 5 update is our treat to existing DeNoise users. There will be no cost to upgrade to version 5. The most significant improvements for DeNoise 5 include:- Double the speed- Double the Image-Size processing capabilities- Debanding Tab - Banding noise is eliminated with our new dual-directional Debanding feature- Correct Black Levels slider in the Noise Reduction Tab - This feature helps reduce haze (caused by noise) and reveal the true richness in the darkest parts of an image." Topaz Labs has kindly informed me that Topaz DeNoise is now at version 5. I reviewed version 4.1 not too long back, and while it was capable of some really great results, it was also slow and had a few issues. The newest version looks to address the speed issues, and also introduces new features that look to greatly improve the final output. In particular the debanding feature looks good; I had some problems with that in 4.1, so hopefully that'll erase it in 5.
